Katriona first qualified as a Special Needs Assistant in 2005, she spent many years working in both primary and post primary schools and is delighted to be joining the Galway Educate Together Secondary School in 2022. She is very passionate about the Educate Together Ethos and looks forward to working in this environment and assisting students to realise their full potential. In 2004 Katriona was involved as a parent in a start-up Educate Together Primary school, it was here that she found her desire to work in a school setting. In 2011 she went on to qualify as an Acupuncturist. She brings many skills with her and enjoys the art of crochet and knitting in her spare time.
