Laura Creaven -Science, Maths and Biology

Laura is from Galway and studied Industrial Biochemistry at the University of Limerick. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as a quality engineer, gaining valuable experience in the world of science and industry. But her passion for education eventually led her to a Masters in Teaching at the University of Galway, specialising in Biology, Maths, and Junior Cycle Science.

She’s passionate about helping students shift how they see Maths—breaking it down, building confidence, and showing that it’s not as scary as it seems. She also loves teaching Biology and Science, especially when it comes to exploring the incredible human body and the processes happening all around us every day.
