Laura Mather (Assistant Principal II)
Originally from Clare, Laura has joined the GETSS team as a French and History teacher.
She graduated from Mary Immaculate College with a BA in French and History, and went on to earn a PGCE in French from the University of York, and a Masters in History by Research at here original university.
Laura has worked in another Educate Together in Kildare for 3 years before joining us. She believes that relationships with students very important to ensure a proactive and enjoyable classroom environment.
She shares her love of the French language by organising trips for not only French but other languages, like to Germany to give students a more rounded experience in MFL.
Laura enjoys being part of the after school Language club and the Erasmus+ team.
