Parent and Guardian Connect Evening

Parent and Guardian Connect Evening

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Just a reminder about our annual start of year “Parent and Guardian Connect Evening” on Wednesday, September 10th from 7-9pm.

As part of this evening we will have a visiting speaker, Jeremy Pagden, who will share lots of really useful tips about how we can keep our children and ourselves safe online. We all know how quickly technology, the internet and apps move. This space is changing all the time, it’s hard to keep up!

Jeremy will bring us up to date with the latest tips and tricks, helping us to be more aware and showing us how it all works. He will also look at the latest apps that we need to be aware of. This will tie in with our new anti bullying policy, Bí Cineálta, as we try to educate our students about how to protect themselves online and prevent cyber bullying.

This will be a practical session that will be well worth attending. He comes highly recommended.

The second part of the evening will be a session for the Parents and Guardians of each year group from 1st Year to 6th Year outlining key information as well as important school updates that you need to know as we start the new term.

We really encourage you to come to this evening. It is a good opportunity to meet other parents and guardians and to connect with the school. We would like to see every child represented if at all possible.

Looking forward to seeing you all then!
