Reminder: School Transport for 2025-26 application process closes tomorrow at 5pm.

Dear Parents & Guardians,
 
Just a reminder that if you intend to apply for School transport for 2025-26 academic year then this application process will close tomorrow at 5pm. You do not need to apply if you reside in the same address and availed of the transport last year, tomorrows deadline is for ‘New’ applicants.

Bus Éireann’s on-line application portal is now open

How to apply

You can apply on-line to Bus Éireann at www.buseireann.ie/schools or click here Bus Éireann Portal.

The closing date for new applications is Friday, 25 April 2025.

You can apply and pay or enter medical card details at the same time.

The closing date for payments or entering medical card details is Friday, 6 June 2025.

Who needs to apply

  • Students who have never applied for school transport.
  • Students starting junior infants or first year for the first time in the 2025/26 school year.
  • Students changing home address or moving school in the 2025/26 school year.

If you apply after the closing date, your application will be late and you may not get a ticket.

Payment facility for 2025/26 now open

You must submit payment or medical card details if you are:

  • A new applicant
  • A pupil who has used school transport before and needs a seat for the 2025/26 school year
